I'm playing minecraft again recently and I'd like to know how to download a shader for Windows 10. A step-by-step tutorial would be very helpful since I do not know how to download something from scratch and then do it all again find and everything. I would like to thank you very much. Steps to install Optifine:

1. The first thing that should be done is to make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge.
2. Then, find the app named Minecraft in the folder.
3. For the users of Windows, the app can be run from the Start menu, type %appdata% and click Run. If you use Mac, you can open the finder, hold down ALT, and click the Go and then Library, which can be found in the top menu bar.

Unfortunately, Shaders slow down Minecraft or they need a more capable system for the game to run perfectly or smoothly. You probably view the UWP model to slow down after installing a shader.

However, Minecraft UWP shader is identical to a texture pack with some distinction. These distinctions are more pronounced on the Java model but not too much with the UWP version. You will have to organize your own expectations here.
